Our people, policies and systems are dedicated to one goal – protecting, enhancing and maintaining your property asset. While this obviously includes the work we undertake with regards to your property, it also refers to the initiatives and policies we have implemented at our own business.
These include:
- Operations in accordance with the Real Estate Services Act of British Columbia.
- Ascent and its Agents are licensed, bonded and insured, and trust accounts are independently reviewed annually.
- President and founder, Rick Dickson is Ascent’s Managing Broker
- Our accounting department is administered by the Controller, a CGA, using reliable, secure computer equipment that is backed up on a daily basis. Backed up data is kept off premises for additional security;
- Our premises are secured against break-ins and fire, and constantly monitored via security and video systems; and
- Administrative systems and controls are in place to promote periodic quality checks and ensure prompt client follow-up.
- Two signatures on all Trust Account cheques.
